Regular dog grooming is an essential part of the up keep of your dog. It helps prevent fleas and keep a general eye on any potential skin problems that may arise. Dog grooming also aids in the bonding process and therefore keeps a healthier, happier dog.
Once an appointment has been agreed, I will come to your home, spend a little time getting to know your dog, have a chat with you about your dog such as health, temperament, previous experience with groomers and what requirements you have for me and whether they are possible with the dogs coat condition (if the coat is smatted it can't be brushed out, the kindest thing for the dog may be to clip it off and start from fresh).
On the table I will examine your dogs coat, brush out the under coat and knots and then start cutting to your requirements. The nails will also be checked and cut if necessary. Ears will be plucked, cleaned and glands checked and cleared as necessary.
All I need from you is a table top to work from (protective, non-slip mat provided) and a power point. I can work anywhere in the house like the kitchen, front room or if the weather is good I can also work in the garden.
